USH Physical Theatre is bridging the gap between observer and artist by inviting audience members into their new production “Hyde,” which plays at the Rochester Fringe Festival September 14-15 and 20-21.

Rochester, NY – The inaugural RocHaHa Clown Festival takes place this coming September 24-28 at Rochester’s Multi-use Community Cultural Center (142 Atlantic Ave.), featuring some of the finest and funniest clowns in North America. Co-produced and founded by Rochester’s own Katherine Marino and PUSH Physical Theatre Creative Director Ashley Jones, the six-day festival offers a unique blend of performances, workshops and community engagement. "Let’s Get Physical (Theatre)" is a triple-bill featuring two clown acts and a one-act play developed by some of Rochester’s most adventurous physical performers.

In a thrilling development for Professor Aardvark, the highly anticipated show "INDOORS,” has just received a grant from the Rochester Area Community Foundation (RACF). Ahead of our Wip showing in June 2024, ready for a full mount of the show in December 2024. "INDOORS" is poised to be a ground breaking first circus show for PROFAARD.

Ashley received a Support for Artists grant from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) to support creative work. Sponsored by NYFA, this award will fund INDOORS. Through New York State’s continued investment in arts and culture, NYSCA has awarded over $80 million since Spring 2023 to over 1,500 artists and organizations across the state.
